<p>Sure, $10 can buy a lot of starch, which will fill up a family of four, but when it comes to healthy, interesting fare, look no further than <a title="Top Chef blog" href="http://dailyeatsonline.com/2008/04/11/must-see-tv-bravos-top-chef-chicago/" target="_blank">Bravo&#8217;s &#8220;Top Chef: Chicago&#8221;</a> for a few fun alternative to the standard meat and potatoes.</p>
<p>Last week on &#8220;Top Chef&#8221;, the challenge was to use $10 to create a healthy meal for a family of four, and the Chefs did not disappoint.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a rundown of the recipes:</p>
<p><a title="Chicken recipe" href="http://recipes.mt.bravotv.com/top_chef/season_4/episode_8_1/chicken_paillard.php" target="_blank">Chicken Paillard w/Basil &amp; Parmesean w/a Fennel, Orange &amp; Apple Salad</a><br />
<a title="Stir Fry recipe" href="http://recipes.mt.bravotv.com/top_chef/season_4/episode_8_1/stirfry_vegetable_chicken.php" target="_blank">Stir Fry Whole Wheat Noodles w/Bok Choy, Chicken, Edamame &amp; Cilantro</a> (pictured above)<br />
<a title="Turkey Bratwurst recipe" href="http://recipes.mt.bravotv.com/top_chef/season_4/episode_8_1/turkey_brats_with_braised_apple_potatoes.php" target="_blank">Turkey Bratwurst, Dijon, Apple, Potates, and Sweet &amp; Sour Braised Cabbage</a><br />
<a title="Crusted Chicken recipe" href="http://recipes.mt.bravotv.com/top_chef/season_4/episode_8_1/chicken_breasts_bean_salad.php" target="_blank">Quinoi Crusted Chicken w/Beans &amp; Edamame<br />
Roasted Chicken w/Apples &amp; Mixed Vegetables, Cucumber &amp; Tomato Salad</a><br />
<a title="Roasted Chicken recipe" href="http://recipes.mt.bravotv.com/top_chef/season_4/episode_8_1/roast_chicken_with_black_bean.php" target="_blank">Roasted Chicken w/Beets, Avocado, Apple &amp; Cilantro<br />
Pasta w/Puttanesca Sauce</a><br />
<a title="Braised Chicken recipe" href="http://recipes.mt.bravotv.com/top_chef/season_4/episode_8_1/cous_cous.php" target="_blank">Braised Chicken &amp; Veggie Couscous w/Chive Yogurt</a></p>
<p>Isn&#8217;t it nice to know good food doesn&#8217;t necessarily have to be expensive?</p>
