Vegan Donuts: A Northern California Treat

That’s right…there’s a genius in Northern California who decided to take up vegan baking–and the result is People’s Donuts,
They work out of a wholesale facility in West Oakland, Calif., and have plans in the works to open a “donut shop” somewhere nearby soon.
The company started selling Vegan Donuts in late March/early April 2007 out of their facility, and they started delivering to Fellini Coffeebar in Berkeley, Cole Coffee in Oakland, Philz Coffee on 24th St. in San Francisco, and Ritual Roasters on Valencia soon after.
They are always available at: Eclair Bakery, 2565 Telegraph Ave. in Berkeley, and delivered daily to: Cole Coffee, Oakland; Rainbow Grocery, San Francisco; Rudy’s Cant Fail Cafe, Emeryville; Fellini Coffeebar, Berkeley; Ritual Roasters, San Francisco; Philz Coffee, 24th St. & 4th/Brannan, San Francisco; Coffee to the People, Haight and Masonic, San Francisco; Rockin’ Java, Haight St. next to Amoeba; Herbivore Restaurants (Berkeley and San Francisco); The Breakroom (downtown Oakland). They are sometimes found at: Pizza Plaza, Oakland; and 924 Gilman St. All ages club, sold in the store there.
