Purely Decadent Soy Ice Cream

Published by jsfarmer at 2:17 am under Dessert,Health,Products

Cherry Nirvana

One of my fondest childhood memories is of my father making homemade strawberry ice cream. I also remember my impatience that the process seemed, at least when I was young, to take a lifetime to produce the cold, creamy dessert.

As an adult, I wish I had the patience to make ice cream at home, but I don’t. These days, I also hardly ever eat “ice cream”, as in my household we prefer the dairy free stuff.

And before you roll your eyes and wrinkle your nose at the thought of soy ice cream, hold on to your taste buds, because Turtle Mountain makes the best ice cream I’ve ever had–dairy or no.

And not only is it dairy and lactose free, but it also has less than half the fat of super premium dairy ice cream, it contains only 65% of the calories, it’s cholesterol free, it has no trans fats, and it’s certified vegan and made with organic ingredients.

It’s called Purely Decadent, and that it is. My top-five favorite flavors are: Mint Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Zig Zag, Cherry Nirvana (for fans of Ben & Jerrys’ Cherry Garcia (R)), Chunky Mint Madness and Purely Vanilla (great with berries on top!).
